Hopefully the guys over at AA will stick to the plan and fix content in future patches. I still find it an entertaining and relaxing game to play once in awhile (granted I am not on AA that much anymore RL work comes into play). I would have to say give it a try, there will most likely be a 14-day trial to release at some point or if a friend has purchased AA they could give you the visitor's 14-day pass. I do hope they jump on the ball to make this gam to full potential. -Oz |

The first six months of an MMO are usually pretty brutal, but then the live team really gets rolling and makes the game worth playing. Look at EQ2. It was a beast for a good three months, but then improvements started rolling in and it became a great game. |

I play a BIO CON and I am currently 28th level working quickly to 30. I haven't hit one broken mission. But as both Ozrich and Orson have said, I think the NetDevil guys will work to get everything in order. I know them from Jumpgate, and they are some hard working people. |

The game at the time of the last post above was VERY unbalanced when it came to PvP. We are now well past update 3 and the game is more balanced than it has ever been. The main imbalances now are in numbers and also in the high level players from one faction having mostly turned away from the PvP layer when combat was balanced and the uberness of that faction was brought down to an equal level. The end result was that the high level players from the previously underpowered factions remained and were faced with a new crop of opponents with little experience and lacking in quality gear. These newer players are steadily becoming more and more seasoned every day and fights are getting more and more fun again. There is another update already in the works which is going to majorly revamp the skills system and reportedly balance PvP even more. So this is not a bad time to get into AA. The community is tight-knit mostly and helpful. I have seen the game for sale in stores for as little as $9.99 which includes the first 30 days of play time, so the financial risk/burden is non-existent. |

The problem isnt that most people turned away from pvp when it became balanced. The problem is that between most of the high lvl players following the "I Win" button over to the next uber faction, and all the little kiddies using exploits like punt and afk token farming while sending hate tells to the enemy accusing them of being the cheaters, it has just become, well not so fun anymore for the once overpopulated and uber faction. I can count on only two hands the amount of high lvl players that have stuck with the human faction instead of following the "I Win" button. Those 10 people are the true uber humans. As for the ones who followed the I win button, well we know why they are where they are at. I must say though that exploits like punt, afk token farming, etc have been fixed in the last updates. And issues like desynch and balance are being addressed more in this coming update 4, it is becoming a very well put together game. Now if the little hate tell sending kiddies would grow up just a bit or we could get some GM moderation in game, maybe it would become fun for all sides once again ;) P.S. For those looking for a new game and/or looking at Auto Asaault. Get the free trial, try it, blast your way thru this post apocalyptic world, and you'll love it. Instant addiction for those who like driving/pvp/crash em up/total anihilation type games. No game is ever perfect as far as MMO's go but AA is well on its way to filling that role. I got in this game 3 days before it went live in the preorder rush and have loved every minute of it. |

That is a myth and most of the people playing my faction who were formerly from your faction switched well before there was any clue that the game was going to be as well balanced as it now is for PvP. There are always exploits in any game and plenty of players from your faction have used them and some still do... the definition of the punt as an exploit was always pretty suspect anyway. I have seen SOME players from your faction who switched expecting an easy road and I have much more respect for folks who stuck it out, but an equal amount for those players who switched before update notes were even released...knowing they would be outnumbered and outgunned. |

<DIV>I've been in the beta of AA since the beginning and from that early point, I saw that game as having potential. Unfortunately, the AA team has repeatedly made promises about improving the game's performance, fixing broken missions across all races/classes, and making the game feel like a communit...alas they failed on all points.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I logged over 80 issues during beta and the SAME issues when the game went live. I asked AA about this and they said that they had other priorities, I guess having the game crash to your desktop isn't high on their list.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The game is severly unbalanced, missions are missing or bugged for every race/class, and there's absolutly no sense of community. The crafting ability to soo lacking that me and my friends don't bother trying to figure if out any more.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>If you look at the # of new users since the game went live, you'll notice that they're exceptionally low. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Explosions are suppose to break new ground with this game and it does but the feeling only lasts for a few moments, then you're left wanting more.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Plz, spare yourself and don't purchase this game.</DIV>
