The Rolling of Wheels: Blogger's First Impressions

MMORPG blogger extraordinaire Van Hemlock shared his first experiences with Auto Assault during his free trial and followed it by an overview of Scrap Valley and the Biomek storyline:

Always, The Road... The Mutants probably see it as a vein, or an artery, granting it a mystical, ritual significance, mumbling mantras in their festering contamination-riddled huts, worshiping it, praying to it's 'spirit' for protection and aid. For the Betrayers, it is more likely a legacy, a sentimental symbol of a carefree and decadent past, of a time before the contamination and the atomic fires, a time when it was perhaps permissible to be weak, and soft. I see it quite differently. For me, it is a conduit, a system, an efficient network of expediency, allowing me to move swiftly to where I am required, and allowing me to exercise my will, for the greater achievement of the Pax Bionicus, and the Biomek Order.

Thanks Sigoya! This blog is really well-done. You continue to provide an excellent forum and reference for AA players who are fed-up with the 'same old same old' topics that are continually recycled on the 'official' AA forum. I can't wait for Van Hemlock's next installment!!

Glad you are enjoying our coverage of AA! =)

So how are you doing, you kinda disappeared on us. Are you still game to help us here?

Cheers!

Certainly, my apologies for not communicating better my situation. RL has a funny way of snatching away the few opportunities for free time...I'm still able to play 4-6 hours a week, but that leaves very little time to help out w/database stuff. The only reason I'm posting at 3am right now is that I ate a huge Bistro Burger (ham, egg, gouda cheese, and 1/2 lb. patty) at Bugaboo Bay in Alexandria last night and I'm up with a mean case of...well...the 'after effects'. It wasn't quite as good as a Zendig...Sanctuary style...but it was damn close!! =)

So...I was thinking...would the questing arcs of the Mutants still be the thing you'd want some contribution with, or is there something else that's in higher demand?

Real Life takes precedence as always, and I don't want you to sacrifice your few precious game hours as well. I just needed to know if you are still around, the database can wait. =)

But if you do manage to get any time soon, getting the level # for each mission would be great, even if you just record the name next to its appropriate level, and I could enter this data.

Stay in touch =)
