Background

The idea to hold racing competitions occurred to INC and its OCD subsidiary soon after the company closed its dueling arenas for some much-needed renovation. While the level of activity was relatively high, OCD members and participants craved for a form of competition that put all drivers on a more balanced level. No self-respecting driver would knowingly weaken their chassis setup to compete on the level of others, so another method seemed in order.

Casting their gaze about the Central Wastelands, INC planners quickly fell upon the answer: racetracks. All types of vehicular tracks in various forms and shapes had survived the apocalypse, though many were in disrepair or worse, occupied by well-entrenched hostiles. Furthermore, the track surfaces themselves would not be able to withstand constant abuse from modern vehicle chassis and new technology tires and treads.

Instead, INC decided to fund construction of two new tracks using existing resources. The first would be in a series of arid rocky hills, dotted with a series of bridges and some industrial areas, the second in a mostly city-like environment (sandwiched between a giant hill) with lots of multiple paths and destroyed urban centers. Lighted paths or reinforced concrete barriers would generally mark the direction of the tracks, and INC will deactivate all weapon systems before the competitors enter the starting gate. Only up to four drivers may race at any one time, and periodically OCD will transmit race times and position as the competition progresses.

By clicking the Create tab, you can now create your own auction. Simply open your cargo or vehicle hardpoints and click-drag the item that you wish to sell into the black box at the top of the menu. When you drop the item into the sell box, the Auction House will generate a starting price based on the price that you could sell the item to a vendor. Please be aware this is only a suggested starting price and you can alter it to your liking. Note the deposit for selling the item is based on that particular item's worth. Once you have indicated the starting and buyout price (if any), please choose how long you would like your item to be up for auction. When you have completed this process, click the "Place Auction" button. If you would like to view the auction that you have just created, you can go back to the Browse tab, click update, and search for your newly added auction.

The Racetracks

INC introduces two new racetracks to the Central Wastelands: Asphalt & Gauntlet tracks!

Below we have links to two holographic guides (flattened to some two-dimensional representations for those of you with primitive visual systems) that generally show the layout of each track, though of course they are not completely representative of every single chicane and obstacle.
