Auto Assault Macro Tutorial

How to set up and use macros in game.

Setting up Macros can help you in many ways:

  • Create a macro/button that sets off many Commands at once.
  • Create Consumables macros/buttons that can activate many items at once.
  • Create a macro/button for activating many Skills at once.
  • Create a macro/button for switching equipments at once (armor/weapons/ornamnets/hazard chip/power plant)
  • Create a chat macro/button for quick communication.
  • Create a linked macro/button that can activate several macros at once.

In order to setup Quickbar macros, access the Macro Editor (click the O on top of the chat window or check your keyboard layout for the shortcut)

Use the Macro Editor to enter your Commands of choice.you can use the /quickbar command to execute anything that you can drag to the quickbar (Skills, Consumables, Equipment and other Macros). Here's an example for creating a Healing macro:

First, you'll need to have Healing consumables in your Cargo. Then drag them to any empty spot on your Quickbar. Once you acquire more consumables it's recommended to dedicate a full Quickbar to all of the Healing consumables. Here all the healing kits are stacked on buttons 7-0 of the quickbar.

Second, you'll need to write down the commands in the Macro Editor. Choose the first button and name it HEAL, then write down the following command on the first line: /quickbar 7 1

The first number following /quickbar represents the Quickbar button number, then the Quickbar page/tab number.

So fill in the rest of the lines accordingly to use the consumables we have on the quickbar. You'll end up with the following lines:

This Macro will trigger all the consumable on this quickbar at once (Make sure the consumables don't have the same timer on them, ex: Accuracy consumables)

Finally, you can drag the newly created and named Macro to the Quickbar and assign a shortcut key for it in the Controls & Gameplay Options
